Native born California girl Angela Taylor has got to be the shyest exhibitionist you'll ever meet. She's been performing since the early age of eight and whether twirling, dancing, competing or cat-walking, music has always been her safe haven. Artists that have influenced her include Madonna, Stevie Nicks, Fiona Apple, Prince and Pat Benatar.
Although she always dreamt of a career in singing, shyness has kept her from pursuing it. However that all changed a few years ago when she auditioned for a dance group and didn't know singing was required. She wound up loving it and never looked back.
Soon following, she landed a job as back-up singer and dancer for the Julio Inglesias "Noche'De Quatro Lunas" promotional/world tour. After the tour she relocated to Los Angeles to pursue her passion. It seemed to be fate she landed a casual audition with Andy Goldmark, the VP of A&R at JIVE records. They began recording soon after and now have three songs in progress.
In addition, she is currently developing a dance album with respected European producer Peran Van Dyke. She is dedicated to getting her music heard and did so at her first performance when she shook the stage at the Key Club on Sunset Blvd. in Los Angeles. That performance earned her recognition from ABC news and future bookings at the Key Club and Palm's hotel in Las Vegas.
And recently, she was contracted by MGM to be the solo vocalist on a soundtrack for the TV series She Spies. Angela is dedicated to her passion and will relentlessly pursue it for life
